Fun for the whole family!
El Día de los Muertos Celebration
Join us at Ostrander Branch Library on Tuesday, November 7 from 5:30-7:30 pm to celebrate and learn about El Día de los Muertos, the Latin American Day of the Dead!
You’ll have the opportunity to decorate a traditional sugar skull, learn basic Spanish words and phrases associated with the Day of the Dead, and engage in other fun cultural activities. A traditional Mexican ofrenda will also be on display with photos of our loved ones who have passed away. Have a picture of a loved one you would like to add to the library’s ofrenda? Email your photo to askostrander@delawarelibrary.org and we will print it for you.
